Thodaya Mangalam consists of 5 Krithis composed by the great devotees Sri Bhadradri Ramadas, Sri Annamacharya and Sri Vijaya Gopala Swamigal in praise of various forms and names of Lord Vishnu.

Participation Guidelines
- Participants must be able to sing or play the following with ease:
- Sarali Varisai through Alankaram (3 speeds)
- Geethams and Swara Jathis
- At least 1 Varnam in 2 speeds
- At least 1 Kriti
- Participants must be selected based upon the auditions to be conducted on the dates mentioned below.
- Selected participants must attend the group practice sessions on a regular basis and be open to corrections in order for the group of participants to come out with a well-coordinated, synchronized, high-quality performance.
- Children between 7 and 19 years of age are welcome to register their interest in participating. [Updated 12 Dec 2016]

Auditions
- Date: Sat, December 17 and Sun, December 18, 2016
- Time: 3 PM to 5 PM
Group Practice Sessions for selected participants will begin from Jan 2017 on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 3 pm to 5 pm leading up to the Memorial Day music festival. All the group practice sessions will be held in the Northwest Suburbs. [Updated 12 Dec 2016]
Payment
Registration Fee: $10 per participant for each group performance.
Participants must pay the registration fee by the end of Jan 2017. The Registration Fee is not refundable.
In addition to the Registration Fee, there will be a Participation Fee on the day of the performance. Families of all participants must make applicable payments due for the day of the performance during the CTU 2017 Memorial Day festival (details to be announced later).
