Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam received entries from a total of 84 contestants this year.
The first round of judging was conducted by a world famous professional musician from India after which 32 contestants were selected to perform in the Live Competition.
The following musicians judged the contestants who were selected to perform in the Live Music Competition.
- Kalaimamani Srimushnam Sri V. Raja Rao and Sri Nagai Sriram
All the contestants who performed in the Live Music Competition were given a CTU Certificate of Performance.
Each winner was awarded a CTU plaque and a CTU Certificate of Merit.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the competition by Meenakshi Ganesan Foundation, cash prizes will be mailed to the winners.
Smt. Gayatri Venkataraghavan, Sri Mysore Srikanth, Sri Toronto Gowrishankar and Sri K.V.Gopalakrishnan distributed the prizes and certificates to the contestants.
