CTU 2014 Utsava Sampradaya Krithis classes

Chicago Tyagaraja Utsava is glad to announce regular monthly classes to teach Utsava Sampradaya Krithis starting Dec 2013.  This is being done so that new generations of children are properly trained to perform these Krithis during CTU events including the Utsava Abhivandanam function.  CTU children also perform some of these Krithis before the USK procession held outdoors during the Memorial Day weekend each year.

Smt. Rajeswari Pariti will be teaching these Krithis during the classes planned from 2 PM to 3 PM on one of the Sundays each month.  Schedule

The following songs will be taught this year.

• Meluko Dayanidhe, Sowrashtra, Rupakam
• Hecharikagaa raara, Yadukula Kambhoji, Khanda Chapu
• Mangalam Avanisutha Naadhuniki, Nadanamakriya, Adi (Updated: 11 Mar 2014)

Children of all ages are welcome to attend these classes.
