Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam is glad to announce the 2024 Memorial Day Festival (May 25-27, 2024) and welcomes everyone to join us for all the activities planned this year at the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Lemont, IL.
We request interested persons to register for Teacher Sessions (registered by the teachers), Individual Performances, and Accompanied Performances.
Please note special requirements for Accompanied Performances:
- Accompanied performances are scheduled for the morning of Monday, May 27, 2024.
- Performances can have a maximum of 2 kritis & must include alapana.
- Given time limitations, only the first 6 registrants will be given a slot. Others registering afterwards will be waitlisted.
- A payment link will be sent to the first 6 registrants & 2 waitlisted alternates.
- Accompanists must be self-arranged in advance by participants. Do not register until you have clearly sorted out accompaniment.
- Only the main performer needs to register & pay. Accompanists should be mentioned on the form, but do not need to separately register & pay.
