CTU 2015 Utsava Abhivandanam

Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam and Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago are glad to announce the 2015 Utsava Abhivandanam function that heralds the arrival of the Annual Music Festival during the Memorial Day weekend each year.

This function features the Utsava Sampradaya Krithis, Nama Ramayanam and Hanuman Chalisa by CTU trained group of children and adults at the Lord Rama Sannidhi at the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Lemont, IL.

This year, the Utsava Abhivandanam will be held on Sat, Apr 25, 2015 in the morning.

Festivities will begin at 10:00 AM.

CTU and HTGC welcome everyone to attend this unique event and participate in the festivities.

Program Details

• Children trained by CTU over the years will perform the following in sequence:
  • Utsava Sampradaya Krithis
  • Nama Ramayanam
  • Hanuman Chalisa
  • Archana and Vada Mala for Lord Hanuman
  • Harati

This will be followed by Prasadam distribution downstairs before 12 noon.

All participants are requested to:

• Be dressed in Indian attire
• Assemble 15 minutes before the start of the program in front of the Lord Rama Sannidhi
• Please contribute at least one dollar on the Harati plate when receiving the blessings of the Lord
