The performance received special appreciation from the temple authorities. All participants received the blessings of Lord Rama in the form of the prasadam (Laddu) that was immediately distributed after the performance.
As per the CTU tradition at such performances, several participants put at least one dollar on the Harathi plate.
Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam thanks the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago for this unique opportunity for the CTU trained children to perform Nama Ramayanam on this very auspicious occasion of Rama Navami.
