CTU 2015 Utsava Sampradaya Krithis Classes

Chicago Tyagaraja Utsava is glad to announce regular monthly classes for Utsava Sampradaya Krithis taught by Smt. Rajeswari Pariti starting Oct 2014 after Navarathri.  This is being done so that new generations of children are properly trained to perform these Krithis during CTU events including the Utsava Abhivandanam function.  CTU children also perform some of these Krithis before the USK procession held outdoors during the Memorial Day weekend each year.

The following songs will be taught this year.

  • Koluvai Yunnade, Devagandhari, Adi
  • Melukovayya, Bowli, Khanda Chapu
  • JO JO Rama – Reethigowla-Adi.

Children of all ages are welcome to attend these classes.

Interested families are requested to send the following information to ctu {DOT} usk {AT} ChicagoTyagarajaUtsavam {DOT} org by 3 Oct 2014.

  • First and Last Name of child
  • Age of the child
  • E-mail address for child
  • First and Last name of parents
  • E-mail address for parents

Note: The schedule below is just for the first 3 sessions in 2014. Additional dates for 2015 will be provided later.

  • Sunday NOV 16th, 2-3 Pm
  • Sunday Dec 7th, 2-3 Pm
