Rules for Live Competition 2006

  1. Contestants must perform the same entry that they submitted in the Demo Tape/CD.
  2. Time Limits Level One: 5 minutes, Level Two: 7 minutes, Level Three: 9 minutes
  3. Each contestant performs one and only one entry
  4. Contestants will be performing solo with no accompaniments
  5. Only individual performances. No groups.
  6. The judges’ decision is final.
  7. Contestants must be present when their names are called out. If a contestant is not present when their name is called out, their name would be moved to the end of the list. Their name would be called at the end only if CTU determines that there is adequate time left.
  8. Judges have the option to request the contestants to stop at any time during the performance.
  9. Prizes, certificates and trophies will be distributed on Sunday, Oct 15th 2006 at 1 PM at the HTGC temple, Lemont before the concert by Sudha Ragunathan & party.
  10. Audience is requested to not engage in any form of communication with the contestants during their performance (including keeping the beat).
  11. Sruthi box and Talometer are allowed on the stage.
