Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam received entries from a total of 73 contestants this year.
The first round of judging was conducted by a professional musician from India after which 26 contestants were selected to perform in the Live Competition.
The following musicians judged the contestants who were selected to perform in the Live Music Competition.
- Sri M. Rajeev and Sri Praveen Sparsh
All the contestants who performed in the Live Music Competition were given a CTU Certificate of Performance.
Each winner was awarded a CTU plaque and a CTU Certificate of Merit.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the competition by Meenakshi Ganesan Foundation, e-Checks prizes will be mailed to the winners.
Violin Maestros Ganesh and Kumaresh as well as Sri Patri Satish Kumar and Sri Trichy Krishnaswamy distributed the prizes and certificates to the contestants.
