Tanmay Deochake (Harmonium)
Tanmay Deochake is a renowned harmonium virtuoso from India, known for his ability to blend tradition with innovation. Tanmay trained under his grandfather Gopalrao Deochake (on synthesiser as well as harmonium) and received advanced training from Pandit Pramod Marathe. He continues to further his knowledge as a musician and harmonium artist under the guidance of Pandit Suresh Talwalkar and Ulhas Kashalkar.
He has won many awards and accolades. He has accompanied legends like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Rashid Khan to name a few, and has performed at all the major classical music festivals in India.
As a composer he creates instrumental music with the harmonium and also sings across genres. Through his initiative Swaranuja, he continues to inspire the next generation while pushing the boundaries of the harmonium.
Atharv Kulkarni (Keyboard & Harmonium)
Atharv Kulkarni had his foundational training in harmonium under Guru Smt. Supriya Prani for three years. For the past nine years, he has been receiving advanced training from his Guru.Tanmay Deochake. Atharv has accompanied many renowned musicians.
Soham Gorane (Tabla)
Soham Gorane, began learning tabla at a very young age under the guidance of Pandit Yogesh Samsi. By age nine, Soham performed with legends like Pt. Suresh Wadkar, and has won several awards globally. He also received a prestigious scholarship from Ajivasan Gurukul in 2018.
Lathangi Sisters Vidushis Samanvi and Archana
Archana Upadhyaya and Samanvi Shankar are not sisters but they are popularly called Lathangi sisters.
The duo started their musical journey at a very young age. Their talent was recognized by Dr.Aravinda Hebbar, a revered musician and thus they came under the tutelage of Vidwan Vasanthalaxmi Hebbar and Dr.Aravinda Hebbar in 2008. In 2012, they had the opportunity to undergo training from late Smt.Ranjani Hebbar. However, after Guru Ranjani’s untimely demise in 2013, the Hebbar couple – Vasanthalaksmi and Aravinda Hebbar – decided to train Archana and Samanvi and nurture them as their children. Thus began their gurukulavasam. Since 2015, they have been under the training of maestro Chitravina Ravikiran.
Archana and Samanvi have performed over 200 concerts. They have won numerous prizes for both solo and duet performances in highly reputed competitions across India. The duo co-authored the book Keerthanas of Karnataka along with Prof. V. Aravinda Hebbar and Dr. B. Surendra Rao.
Dr. Sandeep Bharadwaj (violin)
Sandeep Bharadwaj is a disciple of Padmabhushan Sangeetha Kalanidhi Kanyakumari. Sandeep is a world record holder on the violin and has performed over 500 concerts. Sandeep has won numerous accolades for his violin performances. He has also learned vocal music under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kalacharya Smt. Suguna Varadachari and currently continues learning from Shri. Madurai Sundar. Sandeep has been an integral part of numerous dance productions and arangetrams. He is currently a fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Northwestern University.
Vishvak Kumaran (mridangam)
Vishvak Kumaran is a disciple of the legendary mridangam maestro Dr. Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman. His initial training began with Sri. Vinodh Gopinath and later, over the phone from Sri. Vinod Seetharaman. He is a regular performer in Chennai at many leading Sabhas, and especially during the Margazhi season. Vishvak has won several awards and accolades including the Yuva Kala Bharathi title for percussion by Bharat Kalachar, Chennai in 2023, and best HCL Concert from Madras Music Academy in 2019. Vishvak holds a degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois, Chicago and works for Abbott.
Arthi Nadhan (Veena)
Arthi Nadhan began her initial training with Smt. Vasanthi Iyer and pursued her advanced training from esteemed veena player, the late Smt. Kalpagham Swaminathan, and continued her training under Chitravina N. Ravikiran. Arthi has performed in multiple solo and group performances in various Music Sabhas. Arthi graduated from University of Michigan with a Chemical Engineering degree and currently works at Oak Street Health.
A Flute duet by Masters Hemantha and Heramba
Hemantha and Heramba are twin brothers popularly known as Flute Brothers. They hail from a family of musicians. They are the grandsons of Bhakti Sangeetha Ratna Ambale Subbarao. Ambale Satyaprasad, their father is a Mridangam artist and aunt Ambale Rajeshwari is a well-known Bharatanatyam exponent and Guru.
They began their Initial training at the age of three in vocal music from their aunt Mrs Bharathi Shyamanna. They were initiated into learning Carnatic flute music when they turned six years old under Mysore Sri AV Prakash, the renowned flautist. Currently, they are under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan.
They are the Youngest recipients of ‘A’ grade by AIR. They have performed in various prestigious organizations and festivals in India and other countries.
They have won many Awards and accolades including the Asthana Vidwans award from Sringeri Sharada Peetham, and the ‘Best Instrumental Award’ from the Madras Music Academy to name a few.
Vinod Seetharaman (Mridangam)
Vinod Seetharaman began learning mridangam at the age of seven from Shri. Ardhanareeswaran and later received his advanced training under Bangalore Shri. Arjun Kumar and Sangeeta Kalanidhi Umayalpuram Sivaraman. Vinod is a graded All India Radio (AIR) artiste with many radio concerts to his credit and has also performed on national television in India.
He has composed and arranged the rhythm for many percussion ensembles. He is a popular teacher, and his students are regular features in music festivals and competitions.
He has a master’s degree in Industrial technology and works at Ford Motor Company.
Samyuktha Sreeram (ghatam)
Samyuktha’s training began under the legendary late Sangita Kalacharya Sri T.H. Subash Chandran and she is currently under the guidance of Sri N. Guruprasad and Sri Akshay Anantapadmanabhan. With over 13 years of experience, she has accompanied eminent artists performing across North America and India. Samyuktha also learns Carnatic vocal music under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Smt. Charumathi Ramachandran. She has won numerous awards and accolades including the Yuva Kala Bharathi award from Bharat Kalachar, and most recently, the Nada Pallava award from Nadasudha.?
?She is a graduate of Duke University with a dual degree in Public Policy and Political Science, and is currently a Program Assistant at Amideast in Washington DC.
