Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam is glad to announce the Bhadrachala Ramadasu kritis performance during the 2026 Memorial Day weekend.
At CTU’s request, Smt. Rama Gurupalli will conduct the training.
List of Kritis:
- Tarakamantramu Korina Dorikenu – Raga – Dhanyas, Thala – Adi
- Anta Ramamayam – Raga – Varali, Thala – Adi
- Ikshvaku Kula Tilaka – Raga – Kambhoji, Thala -Misra Chapu
- Kantinedu Ma Ramula – Raga – Nadanamakriya, Thala – Khanda Chapu
Participation Guidelines
Participants must be able to sing or play the following with ease:
- Sarali Varisai through Alankaram (3 speeds)
- Geethams and Swara Jathis
- At least 3 Varnam in 2 speeds
- At least 5 Kritis
The practice sessions will start on March 28th, 2026.
