The 42nd Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam will be celebrated over a three-day period from Saturday, 26 May 2018 through Monday, 28 May 2018 during the Memorial Day weekend. We welcome everyone to attend and actively participate in the festivities on all days. Please mark your calendars for this festival of music, food and many activities that involve the children, youth and adults of all ages.

A sumptuous home-cooked meal using many of the popular CTU Recipes prepared by our community of well-wishers is served on the first day to complement the musical feast. Homage to Tyagaraja Sessions
Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam is glad to announce the detailed schedule for the Homage to Tyagaraja sessions including the Teacher sessions as well as the Individual Performances. This year, due to an overwhelming number of Individual Performance registrations, we have opened up multiple time-slots of relatively short duration across all three days of the festival in addition to the one at 11 AM on Sun, 27 May 2018.
While the schedule provides you the precise time planned for the specific performance you are part of, we humbly request you to please attend the other sessions and be part of the whole festival — in the true spirit of CTU. Please understand that we are not in a position to make any changes to the timings. If you do wish to perform at a different time, please show up during that time slot and we will accommodate your request, time permitting, after all the planned performances for that time slot have been completed.
