The program schedule is still evolving.  In addition to the usual events traditionally conducted during our Annual Music Festival, the 40th year is characterized by various events listed below.  Additional details will be provided as and when they are available.

Tickets and Donations
The Utsavam continues to grow thanks to your whole-hearted support. Please click on the link below to make your payments corresponding to your attendance and participation.  While making your payments, please consider donating additional amounts of your choice by specifying the Additional Contribution amount before clicking the Checkout button. Please Note:
- Attendance at all concerts, dances, lectures and skits require the applicable payment for the day of the respective performance. Payment for the day includes free admission for dependent children as well as food served throughout the day.
- Participants in all CTU performances must pay the attendance rates applicable for the day on which the performance is held. Additional payments are applicable for the 13th Annual Music Competition and Accompanied Performances.

Call for Food Volunteers
CTU will be serving food on all days of this year’s Annual Music Festival.  A sumptuous home-cooked meal using many of the popular CTU Recipes prepared by our community of well-wishers is served on the first day to complement the musical feast. We certainly appreciate your assistance in preparing this feast. CTU 2016 Annual Music Competition
Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam will be conducting its 13th Annual Music Competition during the Memorial Day weekend 2016.

Utsava Abhivandanam 2016
Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam and Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago are glad to announce the 2016 Utsava Abhivandanam function that heralds the arrival of the Annual Music Festival during the Memorial Day weekend each year. This function features the Utsava Sampradaya Krithis, Nama Ramayanam and Hanuman Chalisa by CTU trained group of children and adults at the Lord Rama Sannidhi at the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Lemont, IL.  This year, the Utsava Abhivandanam will be held on Sat, Apr 30, 2016 in the morning.

Pragata Samarpanam 2016
CTU is glad to announce the 2016 Pragata Samarpanam performance as part of the Homage to Tyagaraja performances during the 40th year 2016 Memorial Day music festival. Pragata Samarpanam is a performance by representatives of the more experienced generations of well-wishers who have laid the foundation for nurturing our cultural values and tradition for generations to come. Registration Deadline: Apr 15, 2016.

Homage to Tyagaraja Registration
Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam announces the registration process for the Homage to Tyagaraja sessions during this music festival. Children and adults pay homage to Saint Tyagaraja at this festival. CTU invites you to actively participate on all days of the festival.  Registration Deadline: Apr 24, 2016.
