CTU 2009 Utsava Sampradaya Kritis Program

The Utsava Sampradaya Kritis program for the CTU 2009 festival will start in front of the Lord Rama sannidhi at the HTGC Temple, Lemont, IL on Monday, May, 25, 2009 at 8:50 AM (assembly at 8:30 AM) during the 33rd Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam.

All the children trained by CTU over the years are welcome to render the following songs in front of the Lord Rama Sannidhi:

1. Melukovayya in Bhowli  khanda chApu Thalam
2. nA pAli SrI rAma, Ragam SankarAbharaNam, Adi Thalam
3. Nagumomu galavaani in Madhyamavati, Adi Talam

Please note that there is no age limit for the children singing at the Lord Rama Sannidhi.  CTU strongly urges all children trained on these kritis to practice these kritis before the Utsavam.

This will be followed by a procession led by the children from the Lord Rama Sannidhi to the Sama Rathi Auditorium where the CTU 2009 USK Performance will be held.

During this performance about a hundred children trained by CTU during the CTU 2009 Practice Sessions will render the CTU 2009 Utsava Sampradaya Kritis
